It’s not immediately clear if this guy is nuts or just a major pain in the ass, but Pickens County deputies have signed warrants on Teddy Austin Arnold after they say he threatened their sheriff.

Police say Arnold called 911 about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 24 threatening to shoot Sheriff David Stone.

A report by WYFF 4 says Arnold’s warrants are for threatening a public official and unlawful use of a telephone because you cannot call 911 to threaten anyone…even the sheriff.

And, it won’t be difficult for police to catch up with Arnold.

According to deputies, he is currently being held in the Greenville County Detention Center on an unrelated charge, and they say he will be transferred to Pickens County when he is released.

Deputies say Arnold has an extensive criminal record that’s a whopping 144 pages long, spanning South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.

According to deputies, his numerous charges including burglaries, grand larcenies, kidnapping, second-degree murder, unlawful carrying of a weapon, malicious injury to property, second-degree arson, assault and battery as well as numerous driving offenses such as failure to stop.
