Spartanburg man found alive in road with gun shot wound to the neck

Spartanburg County police say they were called out to a home where several gun shot wounds were being fired. When they arrived, they found an man with a gunshot wound.

Early this morning, Spartanburg City Police responded to 460 S. Highpoint Road in reference to shots fired in the area. As officers arrived on the scene, they found a black male lying in the driveway of 460 S. Highpoint Road. The victim had been shot in the neck and was unable to speak to officers. The victim was transported immediately to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center by ambulance.

The victim was identified as Bobby Jamale Brown Jr., a 21-year-old Spartanburg resident. He is currently being treated at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for his injuries.
